Paris was sired by CH Tapeatom Headliner, imported from South Africa. Headliner was a quality yellow male with a pedigree rooted in Tapeatom and Sandylands lines. He was a balanced dog, moderate in all areas, with a good coat and the classic otter tail.

Paris’s dam was one of our most prolific producers, contributing to the foundation of many of our decorated Morndew dogs and shaping much of our kennel’s success. With a pedigree based on Driftway lines, this breeding produced Paris along with her littermates, Morndew The Deal Breaker and Morndew Jaide, all exceptional representatives of the breed.

Paris was a medium-sized yellow female, true to type, with a feminine head, a true Labrador double coat with ample undercoat, and the hallmark otter tail—one of her many notable attributes. Her head was very pleasant and feminine, with good eye shape, excellent eye color, and very good pigmentation. She had a correct ear set and size, a good reach of neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, a well-barrelled chest, and good depth of brisket.

Standing on strong, well-boned forelegs, Paris exhibited slightly sloping pasterns, arched toes, strong nails, and tight, well-formed feet. Her topline was strong and level, with a tail set perfectly in line. She had good muscling, a short, strong loin, and a balanced overall appearance.

Her hindquarters were powerful, with good strength and an ideal turn of stifle. While her hocks could have been slightly better let down, they did not detract significantly from her overall picture.

Paris had an exceptional temperament—animated and full of energy in the show ring, yet gentle, biddable, and adaptable. She was at home in any situation, embodying the finest traits of the Labrador breed. A career highlight for Paris was being awarded Puppy in Show at the 2017 Victorian Labrador Championship Show under judge Mrs. Kirsi Luomanen (UK).

As a producer, Paris left a lasting legacy despite having only one litter. From this litter came some outstanding progeny:
